Coop and chicken run are complete! Thanks to my wonderful husband and his little helper, Abi, who stuck by him the entire day building it. We got the chicken coop on Craigslist for $60 a while ago, but we had to keep taking the chickens from the coop to the chicken tractor (also purchased on Craigslist for $40) every day. But now we have a safe place for them to go PLUS the tractor for moving from place to place. Hopefully though, once they learn to stay home, they can free range during the day. Anyway, here's our set up. And today I also used some of the dried Basil that I grew and dried all by myself and started fermenting some tomato seeds for drying later (and planting in the spring)! I'm learning, y'all! But I'm impatient. So very impatient! I'll keep y'all posted, ok?!
